Firstly…What is a non-profit wedding fair?

​

With the price of your stand, you will only help cover the cost to run the event (such as venue hire, insurances, advertising etc). Every penny will go into making this an incredible experience for both suppliers and couples attending. There will also be a donation made to a local charity of the publics choice!

​

These wedding fairs will essentially be a giant collaboration to help all of our businesses grow. If you are a photographer or a videographer, you can help by creating some great media content. If you are a band/DJ, you can help by showing off your talent and providing lighting. Décor suppliers can help make the place stand out. Anyone that would be willing to help would be incredible and would also get a special mention on the day!

All of us put together, could make the biggest and best wedding show in the county! â€‹

The Wedding Oasis launch is on the 12th October at Wicksteed Park!

 

For this launch, suppliers will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. After that, there will be an opportunity to rotate suppliers to make it fair for everyone that would like to get involved.

Wedding fair Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully as these will explain what happens with payments and requirements.


Booking

  • Being a non-profit wedding fair, all payments will be paid in full upon booking and payments are non-refundable. Your full payments will be split between venue hire, insurance, advertising and, if required, table hire.

  • Payment is required within 48 hours from receiving your invoice. If payment is not received in this timeframe, you risk losing your slot to another supplier.

  • Bookings are first come first served and filling out this booking form does not guarantee you a slot for the event.

  • A maximum of 2 suppliers per category for small venues and a maximum of 3 suppliers for larger venues.


1-2 Weeks before the event

  • A floor plan with be created with your stand location. Similar suppliers will be separated to the best of our ability but due to limited space in some venues, sometimes this may not be possible.

  • The position of your stand may be swapped with another supplier if both parties agree. This needs to be confirmed within 5 days before the event.


On the day of the event

  • Exhibitors will have access for setting up 2.5 hours before the event starts. All stands must be fully set up by 10:45 on the morning and any vehicles used for unloading to be removed to the allocated car park.

  • All electrical equipment must be ‘fit for purpose’ and PAT tested.

  • The exhibitors are to have and be responsible for their own Public Liability Insurance.

  • In the interest of health and safety, stands should be manned at all times while the show is open and should not be dismantled until the event has ended.

  • Parking is FREE for all suppliers. Please make sure you hand over your vehicle reg to someone on the front desk.


Cancellation

  • As stated with the booking information, this is a non-profit event and all payments are non refundable as all payments are split down between venue hire, insurance, advertising and, if required, table hire.


Force Majeure

  • In the event that The Wedding Oasis is forced to cancel the wedding fair due to circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to, venue closure and/or adverse weather etc) and you are unable to make the rearranged date, we will not be able to give a refund(s) or transfer your payment to a different date due to funds that would have been lost through organising the event. Any funds that may be left over will go into advertising for the new date and the suppliers that will be able to attend will be given a discounted rate on the next future fair should an unfortunate cancellation occur. We will not be held responsible for costs you may have incurred preparing for or traveling to a wedding fair held by us.
